I don't hate these palettes I just think the formula isn't that good. Maybe I got an old batch before they changed the formula, or maybe the formula was never changed. The shimmer shades, per usual, swatched beautifully and the ones that I wore provided a rich pigmentation with minimal effort. This one just looks really beautiful. I am ecstatic to share with you the new , their latest and greatest collaboration, featuring four individual 10-pan eyeshadow palettes in four different color schemes green, yellow, purple, and red. Just look at all those warm Pinks and Purples. The shades inside the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Bling Boss Eyeshadow Palette are not my thing but I think the look turned out fine.
I do love how unique some of the shades are and because I don't own any shades like these, it's a welcomed addition to my collection. The Green hues are so stunning! I have watery eyes, especially in the inner corners, which usually makes my false eyelashes come loose or my mascara run a bit. Took influencers to tell you your palette is shit. I think a cream eyeshadow base would help the shade look more vibrant. It is the most perfect red-brown tone.
I think this one will also be really nice in fall so I am looking forward to using it more. So when you called it out, it was very honest. Fans were generally supportive of the decision to yank the palettes. That's when the brand and Hill made the undoubtedly difficult decision to pull the palettes. I've yet to use this palette yet but I will be posting a makeup look using each individual palette on my in the next upcoming weeks so definitely look out for that. They are now recalling all palettes and delaying the official launch.
In terms of shades this isn't my favourite palette but I did find this palette was easier to work with. The shade Gem is another shade that I don't have anything like in my collection. Do you own it yet? I'm really interested to see how these compare to her original, large palette with Morphe because to be honest I was expecting a little more from these. I had no issues with fall-outs, streakiness, or unevenness. And this is why I work with them! The matte shades feel the same to the touch however, some of them swatch really chalky like the shade Potion and are not as intense as I hoped them to be, so I do think there is a difference in quality in the matte eyeshadows when it comes to swatching, but the most important thing is of course how it performs on the eyes. I did also have a bit of difficulty actually blending the shades together, especially when trying to get the lid colour to meet the crease! The vault collection though isn't available on Cult Beauty yet, i'm not sure if they even will be stocking it.
The brand posted the following note on its Instagram, explaining the reason for hitting the pause button. Morphe and Hill have been promoting the Vault series for weeks now. This is the original palette Jaclyn created with Morphe that was released last year! We will let you know the new launch date as soon as possible. So, our team and Jaclyn have made the decision to delay the official launch. The way Jaclyn explained it was that they came up with a lot of different shades and combinations for the original palette that never made it. Ring the Alarm I was also really excited for this one as well. This was the palette I used on my wedding day, for fun weekend outings, and overall just on a day to day basis! Although I did have the same blending issues as I did with Dark Magic.
They do blend eventually but it's a bit of a pain. These palettes are also much more travel-friendly than the Morphe The Jaclyn Hill Palette, which contains 35 shades. I think £49 for 4 palettes is very reasonable if the shadows are good quality, that is. It includes half matte and half shimmer shades. I actually wanted to get this review up sooner but I wanted to have a good play with the shades and really see how the perform. Making the Vault better value for money.
As I said, there are 4 palettes which are: Dark Magic I don't have any shades like this in my collection and I wasn't to fussed by this palette until I saw it in person! There is a difference in intensity of the reflection but they all swatch completely opaque and even. And then around the silver circle, there is confetti splattered around which is mostly silver but also includes a few shapes that are colors in the palettes. Please see for more details. Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Dark Magic Eyeshadow Palette The Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Dark Magic Eyeshadow Palette has a focus on dark shades to create a variety of sultry and smokey looks. I would personally skip Ring the Alarm because I already own a lot of warm-toned palettes and Bling Boss because these are not my type of shades.
I also have a lifestyle YouTube Channel that you can find under my full name 'Moriah Robinson. The Morphe x Jaclyn Hill The Vault set comes in a cardboard box that is completely white with silver details. This palette contains 5 matte shades and 5 shimmers. The eyeshadows consist of a matte nude, various green hues, browns, a dark blue, and a creamy jet black. Pin it on or share on other social media! I would be so grateful If i am given this opportunity. So anyway, I bought The Vault set the day that they re-launched which was on August 14th and I received it on August 21st.
Just like the Becca problem, Jaclyn took to social media to explain the truth about why she decided to delay her latest Morphe collection and explained that anyone who had already bought it in Las Vegas would be refunded. I know you shouldn't judge eyeshadows based off hand swatches but the chalkiness was on another level. The shades just don't seem to want to meet together. Are you going to purchase one? Many came back with a negative review, most notably Jackie Aina. It gives my vibes since it includes those red and warm orange tones. The opinions expressed in this post were completely genuine.
None of these shades felt drying and had a very smooth consistency that blended and layered on effortlessly. The matte shades are good in this palette, only Top Secret swatching a bit more patchy. It mostly consists of yellow and orange shades but it also does go a little deep with a dark green and brown shade. If you don't think this is an absolutely huge deal, think again! I honestly feel like every shade I swatched was creamy, buttery, and pigmented. The Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Vault contains four eyeshadow palettes, each with their own colour story.
